I’m Ashlynn—group fitness instructor, Barre Above creative team member, instructor trainer, former school counselor, and virtual studio owner. I’m so happy you’re here!
As your instructor, I focus on using uplifting, body-neutral language to help you find joy in movement and empower you to make fitness a positive, lasting part of your life—because I believe an approach that's fun, educational, built to the beat, and rooted in encouragement is the one that truly sticks.
The virtual studio is packed with beat-driven, fully guided classes designed to maximize your time while delivering a fun, total-body workout at home. You’ll receive clear cues and options to help you tailor the intensity to what feels best for your body, ensuring every class leaves you feeling stronger, energized, and uplifted.
In addition to filming new on-demand classes weekly, I teach in-person classes, lead instructor certification trainings, and contribute to the Barre Above creative team. Locally in Grand Rapids, I love collaborating with businesses to host pop-up events and bringing personalized fitness experiences to your parties and gatherings.
Whether you join me for class virtually, in person, or both, my mission is the same: to help you find joy through movement for long-term strength and quality of life—so you can step confidently into all that you were uniquely created to do.
